Thursday the Browns signed defensive coordinator Todd Grantham to a two-year contract extension. GM Phil Savage said the two sides have been talking about an extension for the past several months, but just recently finalized the details. Grantham said he was happy that he had some security. Grantham is under contract with the Browns through the 2009 season. Grantham came to the Browns in 2005 after working three years as the defensive line coach of the Houston Texans.
