Browns Make two Moves; Sign WR, Waive Safety

The team signed WR Efrem Hill on waivers from Tampa Bay. Hill at 6-foot, 188 pounds spent the last two seasons in Carolina with the Panthers. He played mostly on the practice squad in Carolina. He signed with the Bucs in January as a free agent, and was waived on Monday. In 2004 at Samford University, Hill caught 71 passes for 984 yards and 10 TD’s. The team waived safety Ben Emanuel, who came to the team in 2006 after playing 11 games with the 49′ers in 2005, recording 39 total tackles and one interception.
