Winslow to Start Camp on PUP List

Winslow

While the Browns got some good news about LeCharles Bentley on Monday, it was just the opposite for TE Kellen Winslow on Tuesday.  The Browns have put Winslow on the PUP, or “Active/Physically Unable to Perform” list.  Winslow can come off that list at anytime up until the final rosters are set.  If he stays on the list, Winslow will not be able to suit up for the first six weeks of the season.  The tight end is still trying to make it back after microfracture surgery.  Last season Winslow was a monster part of the Browns offense, with 89 catches for 875 yards and three touchdowns.  He also played in all 16 games for the first time in his three-year career.  Getting him back on the field is of upmost importance to the Browns, but rest assured they will not rush him back until they are sure he is ready to go.
