Browns and Quinn No Closer to a Deal
Posted by Matt Loede on July 30th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Browns continued training camp on Sunday without first-round pick, quarterback Brady Quinn. The former Notre Dame signal caller is currently training in Arizona and does not appear to be close to signing a contract with the team. General Manager Phil Savage said on Sunday that the side are close on some issues, but haven’t been able to get a deal done. Quinn is the lone holdout of training camp for the Browns. It’s believed that Quinn’s agent, Tom Condon, wants “premium” money, despite being selected with the 22nd overall pick. The Browns will continue training camp today at their complex in Berea.
