The Cleveland Browns are trying to find their starting quarterback and early on in training camp, no one has distinguished themselves from the others. Head Coach Romeo Crennel said Tuesday that there is no timetable for when he’ll name a starting quarterback, but is hoping that it will be an easy decision. However, General Manager Phil Savage said he would hope to have a pretty good idea on the starter shortly after the first preseason game on August 11th against the Kansas City Chiefs. Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson are battling for the job, while rookie Brady Quinn is still a holdout. Crennel said that he wished Quinn was in camp and when he does report he’ll likely be last on the depth chart. Meanwhile, the Browns will continue training camp today with a pair of practices. One workout will be held this morning, while the other will take place late this afternoon.
