Bodden Should Play On Saturday
Posted by Matt Loede on August 16th, 2007 filed in NewsBrowns cornerback Leigh Bodden is expected to play Saturday night against Detroit, despite sore right ankle. Bodden did not practice with the team on Wednesday as the ankle gets sore from time to time following off season surgery. Bodden played last Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs and had an interception. Inside linebacker Andra Davis is still sidelined with a injured right ankle and may not play this weekend against the Lions. Also, head coach Romeo Crennel is hoping to have left guard Eric Steinbach and defensive end Orpheus Roye back in time for the regular season opener, but won’t count on them until the pair can get back onto the field. Steinbach is dealing with a sprained right knee, while Roye recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery.
