Browns Close Out Camp Today
Posted by Matt Loede on August 23rd, 2007 in News
The Browns will hold their final practice of training camp this afternoon. Training camp started with the Browns looking to decide on a starting quarterback and they’re still trying to figure that out. Charlie Frye will start Saturday’s exhibition game against Denver, but Frye is battling with another player for the job on September 9th when the Browns open the regular season against Pittsburgh. Head coach Romeo Crennel won’t say who the other contender is for the position, but it’s believed to be rookie Brady Quinn.
