The Browns will be without starting running back and leading rusher Jamal Lewis for Sunday’s showdown at the stadium vs the Miami Dolphins. Lewis has a sprained foot and with the bye week coming up the Browns would like him to sit this week which will give him a full two and a half weeks to get ready for the Rams on October 28th in St.Louis. This will put the load of the carries on the back of running back Jason Wright, who last week took over for Lewis after he got hurt in New England, and ran for 59 yards on 15 carries. He has rushed for a total of 102 yards on 19 carries this season with no scores. Lewis has averaged 76.4 yards per game, rushing for a total of 382 yards on 77 carries. On another injury note, wide out Joe Jurevicius is listed as questionable with a knee injury, but reports suggest that he will try and give it a go vs Miami.
Browns to Be Without Lewis, Possibly Jurevicius for Sunday
