Savage Happy with Team; Expects More in 2nd Half of Season

Savage said the Browns aren’t where they want to be at 3-and-3, but are closer than they were in the past. Savage said he was pleased with how the team responded following its season-opening loss at home to Pittsburgh. Savage lauded the play of the offense, especially quarterback Derek Anderson, receiver Braylon Edwards and tight end Kellen Winslow. Savage also admitted the defense has struggled, but believes things will improve.
