The season is over for mammoth nose tackle Ted Washington, as the Browns put him on the injured reserve list today.  Washington has a left knee injury according to the team.  “Ted has been working through some knee issues that finally have caught up to him,” Browns coach Romeo Crennel said in a statement. “We appreciate his effort to this point and know he will continue to help us any way he can in going forward.”  Washington was a starter when the season kicked off, but was inactive for two games, giving way to Ethan Kelly, who will likely be the starter from now on.  The 375 pound Washington has been in the league for 17 years, playing the last two with the Browns. He has also played with San Francisco, Denver, Buffalo, Chicago, New England, and Oakland.
