Linebackers MIA; O-Lineman Eslinger Signed

The Browns were lacking three linebackers at practice on Wednesday as they started preparations for the Baltimore Ravens.  D’Qwell Jackson, who’s missed the past two games, is still hampered by an ankle injury and did not practice.  Fellow starter Willie McGinest did not practice because of a hamstring injury and top reserve Antwan Peek was out because of a sore knee.  Also, cornerback Leigh Bodden was limited in practice because of a back injury.

The team also signed offensive lineman Greg Eslinger on Wednesday.  Eslinger had been on the practice squad of the Denver Broncos.  The Browns wanted to add a lineman after they placed starting right guard Seth McKinney on the injured reserved list.  McKinney is expected to soon undergo surgery for separated shoulder.
