Final Prep for Texans in Place; Shaffer and Smith Practice

The Browns are back at practice today as they wrap up the week getting set for the Houston Texans Sunday at Browns Stadium.  The Browns come in at 6-4, winning last week vs the Ravens in Baltimore 33-30 in OT.  The Texans have won two in a row, and come into Sunday’s game at 5-5.  After Sunday the Browns will play two straight on the road at Arizona and at the New York Jets. Some good news on the injury front Thursday, as defensive lineman Shaun Smith and offensive tackle Kevin Shaffer both were able to take the practice field on a limited basis. Nose tackle Ethan Kelley did not practice with a knee injury. Corner Eric Wright missed the session with a knee injury as well, and Tim Carter got the day off with a finger injury.  Kickoff Sunday at Browns Stadium is set for 1pm.
