Decision On Anderson Can Wait

Browns general manager Phil Savage said on Wednesday that any decisions about quarterback Derek Anderson can wait.  Savage added that he wants to enjoy Anderson’s work for the remainder of this season.  Anderson can be a restricted free agent after the 2007 season and the Browns have rookie Brady Quinn waiting for his chance to play.  However, after Charlie Frye was traded to Seattle, Anderson has taken over and made 22 touchdown passes and helped the Browns to seven wins.  Savage said that there have been some preliminary talks about Anderson’s future, but a decision is still a long way away.
