Baxter Presented With Courage Award

Browns defensive back received the Ed Block Courage Award as a part of the 12th annual Deck the House Benefit/Auction on Tuesday night.  Baxter won the award after getting back onto the practice field after tearing tendons in both of his knees last season.  Baxter was placed on the injured reserve list in October, but is hoping to continue his comeback attempt next season.

Baxter’s attempted comeback is really an inspiring story. People wondered if he’d ever be able to walk again, let alone play professional football..

Congrats to Gary, and we all hope to see you next year!
