The Browns signed linebacker Keith Adams to the active roster Wednesday, and also claimed center Marvin Philip off waivers.  Adams has racked up 185 tackles, 99 on special teams, over his seven-year career.  His best season was in 2005 with the Eagles when he notched a career-high 101 tackles.  Philip was picked up from Pittsburgh after the Steelers waived him on Monday.  The Browns waived linebacker Colby Bockwoldt and offensive lineman Greg Eslinger to make room on the roster.  The team also announced that they signed tight end Brad Ciesklak to the practice squad and released Johnny Harline.
