A Call for Quinn to Start for Browns

Anderson's expression says it all

Personally I would like to see Brady Quinn now. Derek Anderson does have the strong arm but I think Quinn has the brains. I would rather have a smart QB than a strong one with no smarts. Anderson just misses way to many short passes. He throws behind the receiver constantly. I haven’t heard anything about Quinn having a weak arm either.

There are some other things that need fixed also. Holding on to the ball when it hits you in the hands or numbers is a must. Braylon has been dropping 2 passes a game in his hands on average. Don’t get me wrong. Edwards deserves to be in the Pro Bowl. He’s an awesome receiver. But he needs to hold onto the ball a little better. Thats what I liked about Gary Collins, Dave Logan and Brian Brennan. If the ball was there, they didn’t drop it. Winslow has some of the best hands around also.

I know I have payed attention to the illegal procedure and offensive line holding penalties, and Kevin Shaffer has more of those 2 penalties himself than Eric Steinbach and Joe Thomas have combined. If you’re a lineman you need to remember the count.

The jury is still out on Todd Grantham. I think we have a better defense than it appears. I’m not sure he’s using some of the guys right. We need more pressure on the opposing QB. Why don’t we blitz more than once or twice a game?

We need to get Jamal Lewis resigned. We need to get an extension for Winslow. I would trade Anderson for a 1st and 3rd round draft pick. We need defensive linemen. Desperately!! Keep your fingers crossed. We’re not out of it yet. Tennessee plays Indianapolis next week. We need a win against SF. Go Browns !!!
