Browns Back Anderson As Starting Quarterback
Posted by Matt Loede on December 27th, 2007 in News
While rumors swirled about rookie first-round draft pick QB Brady Quinn seeing playing time on Sunday vs the 49′ers, it appears that Quinn will be where he has been the whole season – the bench. Wednesday in Berea, the talk was mostly about playing well in the regular season finale and for Browns starting QB Derek Anderson – getting back on track. One team source stated that Quinn will not play in Sunday’s somewhat meaningless finale vs San Francisco unless the Browns have a huge lead. Cleveland’s game with the 49′ers does not mean much, since they really have to simply await the results of Sunday night’s Titans-Colts game to see if they made it into the postseason.
