Cornerback Leigh Bodden missed practice on Thursday because of a sore back. Head coach Romeo Crennel would not say who would replace Bodden if he can’t play on Sunday against the Bengals. However, Crennel did say that either Daven Holly or Brandon McDonald could fill the void if Bodden can’t go.

The Browns had four players miss practice on Wednesday with three of them being defensive linemen. Robaire Smith and Shaun Smith were out because of sore backs, while Orpheus Roye missed workouts because of a sore knee. Also missing practice was linebacker Antwan Peek who continues to deal with an ankle injury.
