Savage Chatting With Crennel’s Agent

Browns general manager Phil Savage met on Tuesday with Joe Linta, the agent for head coach Romeo Crennel.  Linta said the pair talked about several items, including the length of the extension.  Talks may continue as Savage is in Mobile scouting players who will partake in the upcoming Senior Bowl.  Crennel has two years remaining on his current contract, but Savage indicated that the Browns would do something for the coach following a 10-and-6 season.
