While the Browns looks as if they will be keeping the services of free agent to be Jamal Lewis, today’s Dayton Daily News is reporting that the team watched Tulant running back Matt Forte very carefully this past week at the Senior Bowl during practice.  The paper says the team even went out of their way to meet twice with Forte in Mobile.  The team is going to need some depth at the RB spot, and Forte could and would fill that role nicely as Lewis’ backup at 6-foot-1, 221 pounds.  He is a bruiser and some say is a scaled- back version of Lewis with speed, but still offering the same type of rugged running style.
