Browns and Lewis Talking About a New Deal
Posted by Matt Loede on February 13th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Plain Dealer and Rotoworld are reporting that the Browns and RB Jamal Lewis are talking about a new deal to bring him back to Cleveland for the 08 season. Lewis would be an unrestricted free agent should he and the Browns not come to terms before the end of the month. The sources are stating that Lewis is looking for a three-year deal, but no numbers are being reported as far as salary. Lewis had an outstanding year with the Browns in 2007, rushing for 1,304 yards and nine TD’s.
