No Progress In Anderson Talks

The Browns met with quarterback Derek Anderson’s representatives once again on Sunday.  However, nothing changed from the last meeting back on Thursday.  Browns general manager Phil Savage said he might not be able to sign Anderson prior to when the quarterback can become a restricted free agent at the end of the week.  Anderson’s reps have given the Browns two contract proposals, one a three-year deal and the other being a six-year contract.  The Browns have already offered Anderson a three-year contract, but for less money that what the quarterback is seeking.
