The Browns are trying to sign quarterback Derek Anderson to a three-year contract before free agency begins on Friday.  The “Cleveland Plain Dealer” reports there is a chance a deal could be reached either today or tomorrow.  The Browns are also prepared to sign Anderson to a one-year tender offer of $2.5-million.  Anderson can become a restricted free agent if a deal with the Browns can’t be reached by the end of the week.
