Free Agent WR Stallworth to Visit Cleveland Today
Former Pats and Saints WR Donte Stallworth will be paying
a visit to the Browns today, as they try to quickly address the wide out position early in free agency. Stallworth would right away be the #2 wide out according to the Canton Repository, and would line up opposite Braylon Edwards. Last season with the Pats, Stallworth started like a house of fire, catching 22 passes for 316 yards and three TD’s in his first seven games, but then quickly fell out of favor with the team.
It got so bad for Stallworth that he had just 9 catches in his last five games, and didn’t dress for the teams December 16th 20-10 win over the Jets at home. The Pats told Stallworth that he would not be coming back to the team in 2008. Stallworth is close with Edwards according to Browns WTAM beat reporter Andre Knott, and told us Thursday that Stallworth coming to pay a visit to the Browns would not be a surprise whatsoever.

Wow, Cleveland would have a nice 1,2,3 punch with Edwards, Stallworth and Joe. Lets go Browns, make it happen!
