Backup Corner Benny Sapp in Town for a Visit

While Clark Haggans is in town today, he’s not the only one, as the team is also talking to and hosting Chiefs free agent cornerback Benny Sapp. The Plain Dealer reported the visit earlier today for Sapp, who was a backup corner with the Chiefs. He has played the last four seasons with the Cheifs, last season playing in 14 games with 30 tackles, one pick, and four passes defensed. The team is looking for corner depth after trading Leigh Bodden to the Lions for the services of Shaun Rogers.
