Savage to Continue Cornerback Search After Vacation
Posted by Matt Loede on July 13th, 2008 filed in NewsToday’s Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns are going to remain in the market for a backup veteran CB now that the July 4th holiday is over and GM Phil Savage is back at work next week. The paper says that some groundwork has been laid, and that some of the teams that Savage is talking to want to gauge other positions on their team before making a deal. Look for the team though to continue to look around and finally land a corner before the team gets deep into camp.
