2008 Browns Ready to Roll

Battles at camp

Here we go Browns fans. Another season is ready to get under way. I think we have a lot to look forward to this year. Personally, I’m picking the Browns to go 12-4 or possibly 13-3 during the regular season. A lot of big moves during the off season, a decent draft (with the number of picks we had), experience the younger players acquired by playing last year and no major injuries to start the season.

DA has a year experience under his belt, Lewis has lost weight and looks great, receiving corps picked up Stallworth to go along with one of the NFL’s best groups, and the offensive line has done nothing but add depth and experience, to one of the already best lines in the NFL.

On the defensive side of the ball, the defensive line has added a lot. Rogers is looking very dominant, I have heard that Williams can get a little lazy at times but I think the rest of the team won’t let him relax, Orr and Bell will pay immediate dividends at the linebacker spots, and the defensive backfield will be fine, especially with the added pressure put on opposing offenses by our defensive line and outside LB’s.

The 3 losses this year will be Dallas, Pittsburgh (the 2nd meeting) and Indianapolis. Jacksonville represents my (possibly). Yes, we will stomp on the Super Bowl Champs !!!! I haven’t really reviewed the other teams, so I will wait a while to pick the other playoff teams.
