You can not blame the QB when the whole team is playing bad. Why does The QB get the blame when he throws a perfect pass that land directly in the receivers hand only to be dropped? I don't feel that BQ will do any better at this point but if he is going to be the franchise QB you have to start somewhere. I was really hopeful that the Browns would start where they left off last year.

I have to disagree. The offense as a whole does extremely well when DA is throwing accurately and making good decisions.
The problem is, far too often he throws passes that are either too hard, nowhere near where they need to be, or at the receiver's knees (I counted at least four last Sunday thrown below the waist). Yes they have a boatload of dropped passes (Edwards needs to stop worrying about where the hit's coming from or where he's running after the catch and concentrate on making the catch!)
Regarding Dilfer's comments, how is this a function of the Browns defense not getting off the field when as soon as they do they have to turn around and get back ON the field?! How many three and outs did the Browns have in the second half on Sunday? How incredible was the Ravens' starting field position nearly the whole game?! Give even a mediocre offense the ball on or near the 50 every two minutes and I guarantee they'll put up some numbers.
Quinn may fare no better but I'd rather take a chance with a QB that might play poorly vs. one that certainly will.

Yea I heard what Dilfer said it is so true. Brady Quinn will have a good game against the Broncos but after that will be no better than DA was. This offense as a whole is suffering not just the quarterback

This move was long overdue, but not according to Trent Dilfer. Did any of you catch what he just said on Sportscenter?!?
