I don't buy this as an excuse for bad throws next game. Quinn had a terrible day of passing last game. One thing I am noticing is that everything I have mentioned for the past 2 years, about what the Browns needed to do has been done (finally) except getting Crennel out as head coach. Getting rid of Grantham was first. He is gone. Resign Lewis, which they did to a 3 year contract. Get Harrison in more. He was averaging over 7 yards per carry, even before his big game last week. Get D Line help. They picked up Rogers and Williams. Linebacker, they picked up Orr, and Bell and Hall in the draft. I pointed out that Bodden got burned more than anyone else in the D backfield. They got rid of him. And cut down on the penalties, which they have drastically in the last couple games. NOW, you need to put Crennel at defensive coordinator, fire Tucker, and can Myslinski as conditioning coach. What other reason would there be for all the injuries at the beginning of the year. The players "ARE NOT" required to be in shape when training camp starts. Now, if Edwards gets his head into the game, and starts catchiung the ball, Tucker creates a pass rush, Harrison gets more touches, Chud adds a little creativity to the offense and the Browns get a "REAL" head coach in there, we can compete. Most the blame for the woes this season are caused by the coaching staff. Edwards and McDonald haven't helped matters either.
