Not that he’ll likely have the decision next year anyway as he’ll probably be fired at the end of the year, but Romeo Crennel gave an interesting quote today about the QB spot, and what may happen next year (should he be the coach). Crennel basically said that Brady Quinn would be the teams starter in 2009, no matter what. “I had planned to go with Brady as the quarterback,” Crennel said. “When he comes back, he’s going to be healthy and he’s going to be the quarterback. Quinn is the starter next training camp.” And what if Derek Anderson goes 5-0 in the last five weeks and lights it up? Then what would Crennel do?
