Browns owner Randy Lerner should wait a day and try to meet with Rich McKay on Monday or Tuesday. If McKay is hired, Lerner’s next step would be to let McKay lead the coaching search. Falcons’ offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey would become an instant candidate. Mularkey has been an NFL coach since 1994 and was the Bills’ head coach in 2004-05. He was 14-18.
