Cribbs Should See the Ball a Lot More in 2009

One player that seems to get the crowd on their feet every time he touches the ball is WR/KR Josh Cribbs. Today’s Canton Repository states that coach Mangini wants to get Cribbs the ball more in 2009:

Head Coach Eric Mangini seems eager to plug into Joshua Cribbs’ electricity. Mangini has made a preliminary run through films of the 64 Browns under contract. Cribbs, who went to last year’s Pro Bowl as a return specialist, caught his eye. If the new regime opts to substantially upgrade Cribbs’ contract, that could be a sign his role outside special teams will be much more substantial.

  1. Hello! Smart move Mangini!

Joshua Cribbs is a phenomenal talent, and should be on the field almost every down, special teams and offense.
