Browns with Interest in Cal Center Alex Mack?

California center Alex Mack, who projected to go in the third round, is on the Browns’ radar, according to the Canton Repository. Hank Fraley is a solid center for Cleveland, but will turn 32 in September. Mack is not a great athlete but he is tough and plays with a high motor who could develop into a starter down the road.

Hank is a good center, but let’s face it – he has lost a step. If you watch the games again from last season, we got killed up the middle on blitzes. In a year or two we will need a guy who can step in to that position.
