Quinn Talks About Trade Rumors at Cavs Game

Brady Quinn took in the Cavs game on Saturday sitting in some posh seats right behind the basket, and didn’t seem too concerned about the crazy rumors about a possible move to a number of teams.

As far as Quinn goes, it’s all just rumors, and at halftime of the game, he said as much to a couple of reports that crowded him to ask about it.

“I don’t think there’s any need to ask questions like that,” Quinn said. “If anything like that were true and going to happen, I think they’d eventually let me know in talking about it. I’m not putting any stock in it whatsoever.

Quinn was working out at the Browns facility last week, but never cornered new coach Eric Mangini to ask him if he should start packing his bags for a possible move to a place like Denver or San Francisco.

“Obviously I want to be in Cleveland. I grew up rooting for them. I want to live my dream out.”

Quinn has only played in four games since the Browns moved back in the first round to draft him in 2007. They traded the Cowboys their second round pick in 2007 and first-round pick in 2008 for the pick they used on him.

He was named the starter last year after Derek Anderson was pretty bad and then benched. He started three games. In the second one fractured the tip of his right index finger and tore a tendon in the finger when he banged it on the helmet of a Bills player. The injury was surgically repaired and no longer bothers him. He was 1-2 as a starter.
