Browns with Interest in Former Jets CB Law?

The Browns may have some interest in former Jets CB Ty Law. Today’s New York Daily News reports that Law has been talking to the Browns and Pats. Here’s the report from today’s edition:
Former Jets CB Ty Law is talking to the Patriots and Browns about the possibility of playing in 2009, according to close friend Darrelle Revis. Both Aliquippa natives, Law was Revis’ idol growing up and the two remain close. Law finished ‘08 with Eric Mangini’s Jets.

It is all a matter of dollars and cents when you talk about a guy like Law. If he wants to play, and he is healthy, then his Super Bowl experience and physical play can’t hurt. But if he demands big money, then forget it. He’s not worth big money anymore at age 35 and having come off a less than stellar year in 2008 with only 19 tackles and nil ITs.
