Shaun Rogers and Brandon McDonald were honored at the Akron Browns Backers Banquet, one receiving the Good guy of the year and the other the Best Guy on the team. Rogers and McDonald both had good things to say about this upcoming season in which the Browns try and get back to glory days and make a playoff run.
“Yeah, I’m anxious. I think everybody’s excited,” McDonald said. “I think guys have been working hard in the conditioning program and we’re ready to get on the field and start getting this thing turned around.
“Coach Mangini is a strong-minded guy. He’s going to bring a lot to the team and hopefully we as players can catch on quickly and make some good things happen.”
“We’ll get to work tomorrow,” Rogers said, “and then we’ll start to know a little more about all that’s new and where we’re headed. But I think guys are excited.”"We didn’t have a great year, but a lot of what I did goes to my teammates,” he said. “It’s a team effort out there when I make plays.
“I’m out of the prediction business,” Rogers said. “But it’s exciting to think if we get the guys back and get everybody going, we’ll make some plays out there.”

Rogers has really proven to be a class act………….B-Mac didn’t deserve shit……
I wonder if Big Baby got snubbed again by Mangini at the Banquet? Seriously though, it is nice to see that tensions can be resolved, at least publicly. Let’s hope that prevails for the Cribbs situation, although money seems to make things worse.
I think that will play itself out, the Cribs thing. I think he’s too smart to get fouled up on his agent hyping up the situation, because he came in the hard way and would be foolish to mess that up. The agents are influencing the games, plural, too much.
