Browns to Do a Deal with the Ohio Lottery
Posted by Matt Loede on May 30th, 2009 in News
The Browns seem to be the next NFL team on the verge of doing a lottery deal. The Plain Dealer reports that the Browns are expected to have a deal done with the Ohio Lottery pretty soon that will have the teams helmet on an upcoming scratch off ticket.
“I think we will have a deal prior to the season,” team spokesman Bill Bonsiewicz said.
The Browns would be the third team to get a deal done with a state lottery, as already the Patriots and Redskins have struck deals with their state lotto after the NFL ruled that teams can do business with them. Being allowed to do business with state lotto’s could give teams up to an additional $1 million per year.

I like this forum a lot, mostly because it is not taken over by idiots like on the others where two or three people get a word in, and then four or five start their mindless repitition of the QB squabble or some other rants. I don’t know why they don’t just exchange phone or email and carry on that way and be a llittle more mindful of the rest of the people who want to comment on the article.
I digress; but it would be nice to see a few more articles during the week, if not each day, to comment on. What’s up with that?
