The Sheriff of Brownstown has obviously appointed Elam as one of his main allies to rally the troops and bring some cohesion to the Team. This is the third time in recent weeks that Elam has made these kinds of comments. At least Mangini seems to have a plan. Remember that final home game against the Bungles when Crennel took 2 days to throw the red flag after the kick that appeared to have been touched by Cincy and recovered by our guys? Mangini would have thrown that much quicker even if he knew it was a long shot.
