Abe Elam Blogs About the Upcoming Training Camp

I’m checking into the Fontainebleau in Miami right now, getting ready to start my training regimen that leads into training camp at the end of next month. I usually stay here or in Palm Beach when I come in to work out with my trainer, Pete Bommarito.

I’m excited about improving and working on some of the things I know I need to work on to get ready for the season. I like to push myself hard so when training camp starts it seems easier. I’ll be getting up at 6:15 every morning and working out twice a day to get ready.

I think working out that hard gives me an edge mentally that will help me through training camp.

    Elam is similar to Jamal Lewis in that the two of them are well known for intense work ethics. And as I have said before, it is clearly evident that Elam has been given the nod by the Sheriff to round up the cowboys. No other player in recent weeks has been as public as Elam since coming to Cleveland.
