Browns Lose Out on Former Bears Safety Mike Brown
Posted by Matt Loede on June 24th, 2009 in News
The Browns had visions of adding veteran safety Mike Brown to the roster, but reports are that Brown will NOT be coming to Cleveland, but instead has signed with Chiefs new GM Scott Pioli and Kansas City. Brown did speak with the Browns, but for whatever reason he felt he had a better fit with the Chiefs. Brown is a 10-year pro that has had injury issues, and was released by the Bears this past offseason.

The injury thing keeps me from feeling bad about this. We’ve been the retirement villa for old, end-of-career players every time a new guy comes to coach. I understand the importance of it, but i’m still tired of it.
