I have to wonder how one might come to the conclusion to predict that last years first and second place teams in the division fall to 3 and 4 in this prediction. I am a steelers fan so I am certainly biased. I would predict that the first place will belong to either the Steelers and Baltimore with the second team getting a wildcard playoff berth. I do think the Bengals will be better this year but not near the level of the top 2. I don’t think the Browns will be very good. I should add that the steelers finished 12-4 last year with the hardest schedule in the nfl this years schedule is much easier and the team is basically the same.

Cleveland and Cincy have been essentially bye weeks for years. I doubt much is going to happen to change that this year. AFC North competitive? If it was a 2-team division, maybe.

Although I admire your complete and utter bias towards the browns.I do believe you think the browns will finish division winners every year.Here are my predictions.

Pittsburgh 11-5
Baltimore 8-8
Cincinnati 6-10
Cleveland 5-11

a little optimistic ward the bengals are soft on the offensive line, u know what that leads to. i dont see carson palmer finishing the season. steelers will win the division baltimore second us third at 7-9 and the bengals last.

I think the AFC North will be the most competitive this year that it has been in a while. What I mean by that is I think the Teams will be more bunched together in terms of the standings, with as few as 4 wins separating first from last.

Unfortunately, notwithstanding my appreciation for the eternal optimism that this website puts forth, I don’t see the standings turning out the way you have predicted. I still think the Steelers and the Ravens will battle for first while the Browns and the Bengals will battle for third.

As I said a few weeks ago, I could see this happening, or something very much like it. The key word is coould, as in the NFL as in LIFE, you just never know. But i wouldn’t file this under stranger things have happened; there’s just always that stuff nobody anticipates.
I see the steelers being 12-4 as idiotic, myself. But hey, like they say, Zhit happens.
