Just in case you were wondering, the Browns are not the least bit interested in former Falcons QB Mike Vick.
When asked the question on Saturday after their first practice, coach Eric Mangini quickly shot down the chance for the Browns to bring Vick in. “We don’t and I’m happy with the quarterbacks that we have and we’re focused on those guys,” Mangini said.
Vick is free to any team, and there has been rumors about the Steelers, Seahawks and Pats all having some type of interest in Vick. He may also have a shot to play in the newly formed USFL. The Browns seem to have more than enough players that can handle the ball -Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson.
“We’re really looking at the group of guys that we have and like I said, I’m happy with that group of guys,” Mangini said. “We want to see them work in our offense and move forward.”

I have nothing against Vick playing again in the NFL (he should), however, it makes very little sense for the Browns to be interested. If anything, the Team has its hands full with the ongoing competition between BQ and DA.
Thank God for small favors. He’s not right for us, and probably the majority of teams. I truely hope he has learned something, but I seriously doubt it. Our prisons tend to worsen behaviour and reinforce the criminal element. And in my opinion what he did was not only criminal, but witness to some deeper, more intense issue the man is carrying around. What he really needs is heavy, extensive counseling. And if not too late, lots of love. Tough love.
