Mangini and Rogers Now Seem to Be Best Buddies

Remember when Shaun Rogers and Eric Mangini were not on each others Christmas Cards lists? Well, seems that all is good now, and the two have once again found common ground. Today after practice Mangini spoke about Rogers, putting to rest any problems the two once had:
(On how things are going with Shaun Rogers)- “I couldn’t be happier that Shaun’s here. He’s fun to watch. He’s fun to watch if you’re watching from the defensive side. He’s not so fun to watch for all those offensive coaches who sit back and try to figure out how you’re going to block him. He has impressive athleticism for a man that size and explosiveness and his ability to read blocks and all those things. I’m excited he’s here. He’s done some great things this camp.”
(On Rogers seeming like he is wants to be with the Browns)- “Yes, I’m happy with him. I’m in to him being here. Everything’s been good.”
(On if Rogers has said he is unhappy with the Browns)- “Things have been great. We’re all happy. We’re excited. Things are great.”

Way to go Rogers – deflect the sour grapes of your friend Smith who is just mad that he will be playing for the Lions this season.
