Browns Waive LB Leon Williams

The Browns have announced they have waived LB Leon Williams. The move shouldn’t be that much of a surprise considering Williams was a healthy inactive for last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. The former University of Miami defender was selected in the fourth round in the 2006 draft by the Browns.

    What happened? This guy was pretty reasonable, considering we really don’t have any “good” linebackers. On the other hand, right now, I’m wishing that we’d have taken either (OR BOTH!) Lourenitis (sp?) and/or Maualuga with our second round picks…
