This is a Disgrace

There is 7:32 left in the third quarter, and the Browns have just given up another lackluster touchdown to the Ravens to make it 27-0. I’ve seen enough. I throw this out there now – is this team really going to win more than four games in 2009?

If you think so, please let me know why. I don’t think panic is out of the question at this point. It’s obvious that Eric Mangini thinks it’s time to make changes, as Brady Quinn is already out (6-for-8 for 34 yards with a pick), and the team is going to say they were short-handed without Jamal Lewis and Phil Dawson, but enough is enough.

Baltimore has 348 yards to the Browns 97. They have rushed for 136 yards to this point (6.2 yards per carry), and once again on the last drive we saw Brandon McDonald take another stiff arm to the kisser.

How can they spin this loss? It’s going to be interesting.

    Detroit, Oakland, Jacksonville, Kansas City.

Those are the 4 “winnable” games left. I would agree that winning more than those 4 – even winning those 4 – would be unlikely.

The bad news is the first winnable game isn’t until November 22nd.

Sam Bradford time? Maybe J-Ville will spend an arm and a leg to move up w/ the Browns and take Tebow. Just not Jimmy Claussen, ok, midwesterners? We’ve seen enough Notre Dame fluff on this team.

Next year is an uncapped year. Maybe Mr. Lerner has enough credit card late fee’s racked up that he can just sign a ton of free agents for a one year rental squad.

I guess they could give the bills a run for their debt-to-limit ratio in two weeks.

I’m resubmiting this post from week 2 to inform the good people of Cleveland to not waste thier Sundays watching such a disaster of a football orginazation. From the days of Brian Sipe to the times of Bernie Kosar, The Browns have always and will always come up less than short every weekend for 16 weeks. They are headed to 0-16 season ladies and gentlemen. And unless the city of cleveland puts up a huge infusion of serious money into the cleveland browns franchise and are able to atrract a better coaching staff along with better football players, their will never be a Superbowl title for the Cleveland Browns and the good people of cleveland. They would probably have to auction of both the cleveland indians and Cavaliers to pony up that type of money, plus get rid of Lebron James, which will not happen no time soon. Here’s last week post.

    Week 2:

The Cleveland Browns do not deserve loyal fans!It seems to me that the Cleveland Browns orginazation is destine to never win a Superbowl, EVER! Both their offense and defense looks worse than garbage! and it looks like they traded one incompetent head coach for another. I guess fellow Clevelander’s should start looking towards Basketball season!
