This team is going to need a lighthouse coach -- an established coach with a good record and history that can shine a light on where they want to go and what they want to do. No free agent in their right mind would come to Cleveland right now with the present regime. FA's will leave to play for teams that even have a chance at .500 seasons. Cleveland will become the location players go to finish out careers, make the minimum to get in the pension of the NFL, or keep playing when there is no place else to go. Consistency builds winning clubs -- something that can only happen over time and performance. This is not a quick fix effort; it is a process. It requires consistency in the management, coaching and playing -- something totally absent in Cleveland and something not happening this year at all. This team looks like a team that has no regard or respect for its coach. They sure aren't having fun.

This is becoming a trend in cleveland; if you'e a qb in the draft don't go to cleveland. we have ruined the careers now of how many qb's? First very poor coaching, or even lack of it for a guy coming out. No good mentoring, unless you call the self proclaimed puff daddy from espn a mentor. more like an ego maniac.
But even now, no O-line/protection; no running game; keep the recievers out, why, God only knows; terrible play call, again, almost on purpose; and now the final dagger, inept media analysis. It's almost as if it's a conspiracy.
