Cleveland Browns Jerseys

Halftime Thoughts

Well, what looked like a repeat of last week for awhile has turned into a rather interesting game.

The Bengals looked like it was going to be a 34-3 game, but after Robert Gathers scooped up a Jerome Harrison fumble and went 75 yards to make it 14-0, the Browns actually started to play better.

Derek Anderson was able to find a guy that could catch – rookie Mohamed Massaquoi, who has 3 catches for 83 yards, and came within a yard of his first TD. Then DA hit Steve Heiden for a score to close it to 14-7. It was also nice to see them clamp down a bit on D and stop Carson Palmer and company from just marching down the field after the Browns score.

We’ve seen them implode after a half in the past, so let’s see if they can get off the second half with a good drive and maybe close this to a tie or at least get within four at 14-10.
