Anderson Says Browns Need to Finish Better vs Steelers

As the Browns get ready for the Steelers, Derek Anderson says that the team has got to find a way to finish games against their rival.

“The games that I have played in, we just haven’t finished. We have played pretty well and we just haven’t finished the ball game,” Anderson said. “I don’t want to get too involved in the story about us not beating them 11 times in a row or anything like that. It’s a new season. It’s a new year. We are different players then they have had in the past. We are a different team.”

All week the team has dispelled talk about how the Steelers have beaten the Browns 11 times in a row. We’ll see if putting that in the back of their minds pays off.

The man is a Rhodes Scholar! tell us something we don’t know! HE needs to complete more than TWO passes! They are going to get creamed by Pitts!

  2. ButchGavlen says:

    Imagine….
they come out and cribbs takes the first kickoff back for 6. they kickoff to Pits and go down and cause a fumble on the 35 of Pits. the offense, practicing hard all week and hooking up has confidence in it’s passes and they’re all complete for the first set of downs, all the way to the five, where Lewis carries and bulls his way in for another score. Palamalu being rusty and wanting to play overreacts and is beat deep for another. the game becomes a romp and browns win big, breaking the streak…..
    remember the couch.
    GO BROWNS!!!
