Make the Move Back to Quinn – Now

How can the Browns at this point justify keeping Derek Anderson at quarterback? The club has many other issues, but you have to start with change at the top, and I think it’s time we see Brady Quinn for more than 10 quarters. Yesterday vs the Packers D.A. started 5-for-5 for 55 yards, and it actually looked like he was on pace for a decent day.

Then the bottom dropped out. The rest of the day, Anderson was 7-for-24 for 44 yards, and the team was unable to do anything other than three points, and even that was a challenge as Billy Cundiff almost missed it. The chants of “we want Brady” could be heard loud in the rather disinterested crowd in the second quarter of the blowout.

In four games, the Anderson led offense has scored 19 points. That’s an average of less than 5 points per game. Unaccpetable. Anderson may not be the only problem, but right now, a change at that position has to be made. No matter what happens.

I totally agree and have for a while. It makes NO sense at all to not give him a shot, and take the chance to let him go and see him do anything at all with another team. anyone still proclaiming the goods of DA needs help. He’s a good back-up, if that. MAYBE BQ WON’T BE THE TOTAL ANSWER, BUT HE IS THE ALTERNATIVE AND HAS POSSIBILITIES RIGHT NOW.
BERNIE, give Manginin help and advice and report. Everybody uses their heads and what positive they possess and we can go forward, to whatever point that becomes.
    PLAY QUINN. PLAY THEM ALL.

Brady Quinn should be playing but cheapskate Randy Lerner and his man crush on Mangini purposely made Quinn look bad so they wouldn’t have to pay him the big bucks.

We already knew AnderSUKK sukks and he continually proves it but Lerner and ManKok seem content to subject the fans to that garbage.

It would be great if Quinn and was the starting QB and Josh McDaniels was the HC but Lerner obviously doesn’t care what the fans think as he trashes the once great Browns franchise…

Lets see, the season is almost half over and there’s no way BQ can play 70% of the snaps to get his 11 million bonus………….PUT HIM IN!!!!!! The rest of the season is wasted unless you start building for next year NOW!! Put BQ in and let him grow. Will he continue to look bad for the next couple of games? Yes. Of course he will. He has nobother cast members to help him look anything but bad. But at least he’ll get some pro playing time and learn the system better. Look how other great quarterbacks played their 1st year or 2. Does Troy Aikman ring a bell? So come on Mangina!!!! Put In BQ and maybe, just maybe he’ll do better than a 40.6 quarterback rating. Even if he doesn’t it’ll show the fans that your not a complete idiot, just a partial one.

It doesn’t make much sense to offer a “giving up on the season” argument. Clearly, this team has already given up on the season. So, why not? This team is getting press as one of the most deplorable groups on the field this year. If they keep it up, the league might actually take away their sole win for “contempt of the game.” Green Bay didn’t even break a sweat. Relaxed. Laughing. Enjoying themselves on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Cleveland gets another field goal fiesta while showing why it is a graveyard for players with each game that they play.
