Browns Post Game Notes

· With wide receiver Joshua Cribbs’ 137 total return yards today, he passed Rod Woodson (7,256) for 17th on the NFL career total return yards list. Cribbs has racked up 984 punt and 6,367 kickoff return yards for 7,351 career total return yards.

· Running back Jamal Lewis recorded 69 rushing yards, to pass both Eddie George (10,441) and Tiki Barber (10,449) and move into 21st place on the NFL career rushing list. Lewis has 10,456 career rushing yards.

· The Browns tied a season-high with four sacks. Cleveland also turned in four sacks in the season opener against Minnesota on September 13.

· Defensive back Brodney Pool hauled in his team-leading third interception of the season. The mark ties a personal best for Pool, who also recorded three interceptions in 2008. He has 10 career interceptions.

· Linebacker Kamerion Wimbley recorded his team-leading fifth sack of the season in the second quarter. He has recorded at least one sack in four of his last five games and has 25 in his career.

· Linebacker Jason Trusnik finished with a team-high and career-best eight tackles, including his second sack of the season in the third quarter.

· Quarterback Derek Anderson registered his second rushing touchdown of the season with his one-yard score in the third quarter. Anderson has five career rushing touchdowns.

· Tight end Steve Heiden returned to the starting lineup after missing the previous two contests with a knee injury. He recorded the 200th reception of his career in the third quarter.

· Offensive lineman Rex Hadnot earned his first start of the season after playing in a reserve role the previous two weeks after missing the first five games with a knee injury. Hadnot started 15 games at right guard last season.

· Defensive lineman Kenyon Coleman registered his second sack of the season in the first quarter. His two sacks this year are his most since recording 4.0 during the 2006 season, as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Coleman has 10.5 career sacks.

· Defensive lineman Corey Williams picked up his second sack of the season in the third quarter. He has 19.5 career sacks.

· With one reception for 23 yards, Cribbs set a career-high will 11 receptions on the season. His previous high was 10, set in 2006.

· Linebacker Eric Barton has appeared in 92 consecutive games dating back to the 2003 season.

· Offensive lineman Joe Thomas has started all 40 career games at left tackle since joining the Browns in 2007.

    The Bears were trying to hand us thegame gift wrapped yesterday, and DA’s drops, be they intercpts, fumbles, whatever; there is something about this guy. Play Quinn and the rookies already and let’s see what happens. The O coord. has got to go. If you’re so bent on making him an o-coord., let him back someone up for a year or two and learn. Those two changes would and should be done to make a difference now.
